Fundraising Appeal: Help us Finish the Cabella School

On behalf of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Sahaja Yoga World Foundation we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for all the support we have received from the world collective in a year which, for everyone has been a very difficult one. The deep love for our beloved Mother that binds us together is also a source of strength that gives us the determination to double our efforts for the advancement of Sahaja Yoga in the world.

In this regard the World Foundation gives primary importance to the following areas:

• The Cabella School
• Cabella as a place of pilgrimage
• The preservation and distribution of Shri Mataji’s talks

To improve efficiency, management of the preservation and distribution process has been handed back to NIPC. Nevertheless, the Foundation continues to recognize the crucial importance of this project and has committed to supporting it financially in the start-up phase. A few weeks ago you received a message from Nirmala Vidya llc, the company set up by NIPC to do this job, asking for your support. We heartily encourage you to do so. The development of Cabella as a place of pilgrimage involves not just improvements to the receptive capacity of the Foundation but also the conservation and restoration of Palazzo Doria as a holy place of worship of Shri Mataji. A team of talented and enthusiastic Sahaja Yogis have been asked to consult with the international collective in 2012 and to develop a project that will do justice to one of the most sacred places on earth. In time for 2013, we hope to be able to illustrate the proposals to everyone.

At the operational level, therefore, the main efforts of the Foundation in 2012 will focus on development plans for the Cabella School. In order to accommodate the new intake of 20 students in September 2012, the top two floors of the new school building need to be renovated, as the school is currently operating at absolute capacity. Our long-term goal is to increase capacity from the 70 students presently studying at the school to 150 students divided between the six classes of the international primary school cycle.
