The Marriages Committee has requested that the date of the marriages
in Cabella be moved from Saturday, 27th August to Sunday, 28th August.
This
is because it has transpired that there is a new (dark) moon on the 27th
which, according to what they were taught by Shri Mataji, is an
inappropriate
day to celebrate marriages.
As a result, the Ganesha Puja will now be celebrated on Saturday 27th
August and the marriages on the 28th.
In this way we return also to
the old
practice of celebrating marriages at the end of the programme of events.
